Little Black Flats

My dream closet would likely include a massive shoe rack filled with fabulous heels in every shade imaginable from Saint Laurent to Christian Louboutin. Realistically speaking, my closet looks nothing like that, and while the idea sounds fantastic, in my day-to-day life my go-to shoes are always a pair of little black flats. I want to be a heels girl, I’ve tried, really I have, but I just can’t do it. If I’m not at home editing, my days are often spent running around the streets of Paris, not ideal for stilettos. A fantastic pair of black flats will never go out of style and, for me, the ballerina is timeless. Truly, they can be worn with anything. A pair of Chanel or Repetto ballerina flats are a great choice, but my favorite places to pick up a new pair are La Pointure and Kinza in the Saint-Germain area of Paris. While it isn’t fancy, you’ll find it’s affordable enough you could even splurge on a second pair (and they have a great selection of colors!).
